ourPAD is a silly expensive boondoggle, it will require running electricity through your backyard so installing it will require a sparky as well. My ipad does not require hiring a sparky to wire it up, and a trench to be dug through me yard...

And how is it supposed to work in conjunction with your postie? who is going to train him to open the box, more likely it will result in a "missed delivery' notice.

Why can't they focus on apartment blocks and corporate offices is beyond me, why bother wasting time and money designing these eskys when they have a working locker design already operating.

Even Aus Post recognize the problems with "ourPAD":

"CHAIR: That still has not answered the question. What if you do not want to go up to your local post office and use the PO Box and you have a receptacle at home that is big enough? For instance, I built my own. That is what I had to do because there was so much in it. It is like how some people have a special key for the electricity meter. Why can you not have a special key?
Mr Fahour : Chair, in the last few months, some companies have been offering this service to residents as a network. It is almost like an electronic esky available at the front door. I think it is great if they want to do that. We are not in the business of wanting to do that for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we cannot even get people to lock their letterboxes. Secondly, the problem with these electronic at-home security boxes is that they require a special electronic key. You have to get electricity to that point. You have to get a whole bunch of infrastructure. I do not think the average Australian, quite frankly, is going to pay up. Where we might have this opportunity is in large building blocks—flats—where the builder might put this in place for the benefit of the residents. There are some of those available where we will do that. But it is much more for what I would call a commercial enterprise, as opposed to the average punter at home paying up. By the way, I might add that the rent of these things is quite significant on a monthly basis."

Just waiting till the share price recovers a bit before making sure to sell prior to the next capital raising, lost all confidence that any progress will be made as the Wizard has no experience in manufacturing or technology. Just knows his accounting tricks and home loans, and in this market the government doesn't give you a bailout when your wrong.
