Foreigners should not be allowed to own freehold Australian land...simple as that.
Australian's are not allowed to own title to land in many overseas countries, so why are foreigners allowed to buy out Australia?

I have no problem with them using leased land here for their purposes but ownership should be forbidden both of farmland and housing blocks as it is in many other countries. The leases should have set times too...no perpetual leases to be held by non-resident foreigners.

Neither Labor nor Liberal offer anything in relation to sale of Australian land to overseas interests.
