Plenty of other colleges, high schools and Universities across Australia are equally tooled to give a good education.
Melbourne's education systems boomed as Indian, Chinese and Sth East Asians sent their kids to fee paying public schools with dubious credentials and less attractive skill sets.
The greed of certain Melbourne fringe institutions has damaged the credibility of legitimate Melbourne schools offering good educations.
Right now, Melbourne will be turning out many graduates who will have no job or prospects available to them. They will likely have to leave Victoria and take on work elsewhere in the north or end up like those that graduated during the recession of '90/'91 and ended up flipping burgers and cleaning toilets.
