19% shorts is wrong on both counts. It's actually 0.19% of total capital and that was from Friday. Shorts for today won't be available until tomorrow.
However 968,421 short sales over a total 3,487,764 for Friday is 27%. A very considerable sum indeed. Will be interesting what happens overnight overseas to see which way this will head. If it's a bad night LNC will bleed more. If not look for a substantial covering and rebound imo.
