In their announcement, it notes "Flinders continues to examine all avenues to enable a transaction with MMK to be implemented before the Quit Date of 30 June 2012." One avenue FMS may well be considering is legal action against MMK for some form of misleading and deceptive action or not acting in good faith with the dubious takeover challenge. No way will FMS lower price - it will stink of desperation and reputations already tarnished will be permanently damaged. MMK are not the only company out there. FMS just need to continue to increase it resources, and seek a JV if possible. If current management don't have the stamina for being patient, then hand it to more passionate and competent people who are willing to go the full distance. I am happy to be patient.
