Many, many times on this forum posters have compared Prima Biomed to Dendreon and many, many times other posters have highlighted the significant differences between the two and the fact that PRR are starting from a much more secure and solid foundation.
Significantly, Matthew Lehman touched on PRR's strengths in today's Newsletter when he said;
"Altogether our global technology platform is unique and valuable - we are a pioneer in this field. Few companies are where Prima is in terms of worldwide development, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities, in personalized bio-therapeutics."
As Matthew Lehman also said, "if the ICS data (relating to the stimulation of T-cells) is positive "we will have increased confidence to start looking at Cvac to treat other types of cancer outside of ovarian cancer."
As I read the Dubai announcement, it was regulatory issues relating to the production and distribution of Cvac to Dubai not Cvac "cost issues" that led to PRR pulling out of the project.
I commend the company for having the foresight to withdraw from Dubai and the Cripto program before they became "cash burners".
I look forward to hearing more from Matthew Lehman regarding the "opportunities for acquiring additional technology, products or even companies to complement our existing assets in the personalized bio-therapeutics field."
