Re your post which included; "... and...........whats the benefit in arguing with a fool ??"
There is a difference between arguing with a fool & being in complete denial of data, most of which is produced independently of Wayne Swan.
The economic debate is about how we achieved KPIs such as a 4.3% GDP growth rate, a CPI <2%, an RBA cash rate of just 3.5%, a budget returning to surplus, 10% private savings rate, unemployment at 5.1%, jobs growth of 40,000 in May, an investment pipeline of $450b and therefore our global AAA fiscal rating.
Tony Abbott is apparently in denial of that data & unable to even acknowledge it, let alone admit that his end-of-world predictions were wrong [except for the negative consumer sentiment to which he has made a significant contribution].
Yet Abbott has already softened his rhetoric about winding back all those Labor reforms for fear he will be further exposed as wrong. Meanwhile he has failed to address his $70b black hole & how he will return the budget to surplus.
