A lot of Boomers are downsizing to help their kids/grandkids out with the home loans. Not all boomers are running away on the SKI holiday.
Money is great to have but as a friend of mine who just down sized said your nothing without family.
I know it may only be a minority that do this but it is another factor to consider.(I hope i can give my kids a very good start on their first home.)
