I would like to present an alternative view and that is that even EPT production of only 400 barrels delivers 400 * the tapas price of say a 100 bucks/ barrel
We are all happy I assume that this totals $40,000 a day for a drop or two, gross!
I am with you that this is not the net value and am certainly aware that there is considerable cost of which may be at least $40,000/ day
However for the sake of this let me just make the admission that I am not as smart as you two and definitely not as knowing or experienced but I would have thought if production got up to 2000 barrels a day as was the intention of the extra drill than we would have been in a pretty nice spot...No?
I am assuming that this is what all the fracas is about regards drilling another hole into the same structure when the rig was onsite, and that in my extremely inexperienced view would have had about 99.9% chance of hitting the spot. Directors did not weigh the odds of success or ring Cottee to sort it out, just made JH get rid of the rig and so this is the reason there will likely be only half eaten maccas and stinking emu bitter at the EGM if ya lucky!
