Thanks for your valuable input which spurred me to find out more and I was stunned to see that there are 19 candidates in Phase 2 (including Biotron's)and 5 in Phase 3 and 2 in Phase 4 (http://www.hcvadvocate.org/hepatitis/hepC/HCVDrugs_2012.pdf)
Definitely merits extreme caution.
