DB,the article on crickey website is from PLANE TALKING by ben sandilands."Has qantas been mislead on the 787,or is it just too dumb to know or care?" one quote "the 787 is struggling to better the fuel burn of a 767-300 with winglets on a comparison based on longer flight stages" the article and comments are worth a read imo considering how much qantas is relying on the 787.They have very little confidence in the 787 compared to the 777.They make reference to ana,i guess thats all nippon airways who did the test flights ? .Anyway if anyone with more knowledge than myself is interested,would like to hear their comments on article or other knowledge of 787,besides apparently what boeing is publishing.cheers db.
