I read last night about a Dr Shinya Yamananaka who has been awarded the Millennium Technology Prize (finland) "for discovering "how to reprogram human cells to mimic embryonic stem cells, which can become any cell in the body " ... called iPS cells.
I'm not sure what to make of it ... there is so much
happening in the regenerative medicine field globally. Its clearly a very big pie.
