Do you see the privacy issue as a concern for gen2? It seems like an interesting concept but it certainly will need support by medical professionals.

Also do you think their needs to be two (or more) versions released. Tailored to different regions? ie currently Australian downloads are dialling 911 instead of 000. This is one line of code. Would it be worthwhile havin UK/US/Aus versions?

Better still, why don't they ask the user to set this up on installation? "Enter emergency contact:" or let the app access GPS and determine the correct number.
