Unfortunately, the reality is this: 1. Mines are opening up in areas closer than Australia, we are not the only game in town and the sooner this is understood the better, e.g. Mongolia, China itself, Russia, for example. In the long term, we do have formidable reserves and they will count down the track, but they are not exclusive to us (deposits). Capital will go where it is welcomed and can potential itself to best advantage. COK is a good company and at these prices, with production, an extremely attractive company. Hopefully another beneficial arrangement can be tied up, no management worth it's salt gives the goodies away, COK management is not about to be the first to do so, IMO.
