re: arthur/forest/hypothetical financial advice Arthur, just curious. Why would you have a manager/agent for your non-commercial leasing? They do b*gger all and charge for the priviledge? I've been managing my own commercial properties for years now and it's as easy as pie and takes no time at all.
Fffforrrest, A couple of points: Your $2million hypothetical seems a good deal more than most BB's would have upon retirement. My suggestion of fixed interest was predicated on your conditions of zero work. As indicated above, my own approach has been into commercial RE.
