Lory, we were having this positive chat about blasting, this is a good video to watch, so normally after the weathered areas of ore get mined, blasting will be needed.

Remember kab started mining by one of these blasts a while back, each will free 2000 tons of ore. they wanted to expose the deep areas of mineralization in the Chowa pit.

they figured out the weathered layer is about 10M deep, then regular blasting will be the norm.

The video is taken in iron ore mines, Kab is mining manganese, so please don't mix them up, blasting is the same process though.
