Hi NS, if history is any guide, then the Malaysian government will continue to find new ways to delay issuing the TOL. I think many (shorters) believe these two new conditions on the TOL are just another mechanism the Malaysian government has come up with to delay the TOL. I think there's bribery driving this, not just political survival.

So, Lynas' submission re these two new conditions still needs to be approved, how long is that going to take?

Also, there's the issue of the LAMP oversight committee. How long is it going to take to set up this committee and does the committee need to be in place before the TOL can be issued and does the TOL still need to be issued before Lynas can import its concentrate?

I also mentioned on another thread that the basket price was $92 back in Q1, now it's $57, only 62% of what it was when the SP ran to $1.625 on the last TOL announcement, that's obviously played some part in the recent share price weakness.

So if Delaysia is going to do what they do best and delay the TOL some more, I think the current SP is understandable.

Agree wholeheartedly though, the situation is ridiculous.
