Pity poor performing PPP. It's not their fault.
While we have all been looking up our dictionaries to check for any other possible definitions of "shortly" that may include some meaning that indicates a longer duration of time than we have normally come to expect, the ATO has obviously not been using the same dictionary.
Perhaps by putting in its last Quarterly Report the notion that the ATO was going to deliver its decision document "shortly" management was hoping to push the ATO along a bit and get the said document through quicker.
Sadly the answer is "NO!"
Latest response I have had today from PPP is that the ATO document is still to arrive.
" We refer to your email and regrettably advise that we are still waiting on a ruling from the Australian Taxation Office before we can pass on any information to our shareholders.
As soon as this information becomes available, it will be posted on our website "
The announcement of the capital return was made at the AGM back on November 9 2011. At this rate we may well get a divvy before we get to approve the 5 cent per share capital return let alone actually get it if it is approved.
Still we must be getting closer by the day ! LOL
