Thanks Heron for your input on this forum and the information you share. Agree that the Merensky ore is sort after and in fact only 20% of Anglo's reserve's on the western limb make up the Merensky reef. Agree that in three years time it will be a different story. But I stand corrected on my guess of a basket price of $1150 per ounce of 4PGE because as of today its $1187.37. The summary of the BFS clearly says forecast including US $1601 for platinum.

My figures came from the draft EIR report by MSA for Garatau and Kitco. The draft states the prill splits for 6PGE but this is easy to convert back to 4PGE. Prill splits for Merensky with today's metal priced.
