This is a market with real potential. Building codes around the world are demanding more energy efficient housing.
I know of people who have paid more than $20,000 to have a water tank installed under the slab of their garage with a new build just to have their house compliant. While it's a good initiative it doesn't save large sums of money, BUT they do it because it's the only way to get plans passed.
People will think twice about spending $40,000 to retro fit a bluegen but if it is built into the cost of a new home people will pay it, particularly if you take off the cost of a hot water system.
This is the market CFU need to target now to build sales numbers, and they have the advantage of being the only accredited device in the UK. Let's hope they keep that advantage for the next few years.
