SELLING Reasons for;
1. Market going down due to macro economic factors therefore computer bots selling stocks especially those in the ASX 100.
2. End of financial year Tax loss selling. In Australia you can only offset your capital losses against your capital gains to reduce your tax bill.
3. Institutions playing shorting games
4.Company specific reasons i.e politics, demonstrations, uncertaintity re TOL, forthcoming elections
5. Any other reasons you can think of
