The problem is the Regulators aren't regulating.
Look what happened in the GFC in the USA, the government used taxpayers monies to bailout some of the major banks, who in turn paid rediculous bonuses to the Fat Cats.
The only recourse we appear to have is through our elected representatives, and I encourage everyone affected to put their concerns in writting to their Federal Rep.
By shear weight of numbers complaining, we MIGHT get a response.
As an aside, I heard on the radio yesterday, that if Japan suffers another major earthquake in the region of the Fukashima nuclear facility, the release of cesiam into the atmosphere could make Tokyo and possibly Japan itself, inhabitable.
Everyone here in Australia, could be susceptible to the fallout of such a disaster, which they say could be on a scale significantly greater than the Chenoble meltdown.
The consequences of such an event would have a catastrophic effect on the price of uranium going forward, but seriously, this would be the last thing on your mind.
