question is why did they need to resort to this tactic? They needed to pick up stock to cover their shorts. They would not have had to if there were enough sellers. They were forced to do this to trigger stop losses right down to 73.5c, but it's an expensive tactic, so a last resort. No more stop losses left, no more wiggle room.
