    so go solar. I am lucky I live in Qld where the solar feed in tariff is 44c kw/h....although that will drop to 8c kw/h for new solar electric systems that were signed up for after July 9th....with the way electricity is heading you would be crazy not to fork out now.

    Mind you, with the price upgrades I may need to chuck in a few more solar panels and eventually change the old hot water system for solar as well. My bill has been about $50 and that's with me working from home. For now a few more solar panels might counteract the latest rip off.

    If you do go solar just make sure your inverter is big enough to add more panels later on.
