Firstly I have no real experience in Mandurah. Have friends that bought there and know an ex real estate agent who has gone bust in Mandurah. We visited friends with a unit on the canals and two things hit you. The mosies and the mosies. No coils, spray anything works. We sat inside and watched through the window. I am biased against units as any sort of purchase. There are heaps of short stay apartments, holiday in them and save your money. I have had a holiday house in the Perth hills, was great but after two years the novelty wears off and you get sick of going to the same place all the time. My opinion only maybe others with more local knowledge.
