Could anyone in their wildest imagination consider that the board of Siemens contemplate Malaysia as a suitable destination in which to invest? They could not make that decision responsibly on behalf of their shareholders.
In the past tense, not if, or probably or even maybe, Malaysia has already destroyed all spinoff investment and benefits associated with rare earths.
What board of directors could support investment in Malaysia now?
TOL will issue but the real benefits to Malaysia have already been lost.
On the international stage Malaysia needs to be in damage control and the longer it takes the TOL to issue the more negative international attention it receives.
