GAPS, nothing is certain.
Often enough gaps are closed through naturally volatility but not because there is some hidden law that gaps must always be filled.
There were two gaps left in May 2009 that were never filled.
One at 0.9c on the 8th and then 1.5c on the 21st.
Those two gaps signaled the start of a very powerful rally where the stock rallied by a factor of 11.6 from 0.6c low to a 7c peak.
Gaps can be a strong indicator especially multiple gaps in close succession and on no news.
