But nothing can ever make up for a wilfully silly man who acting outside his circle of competence fails to take advice from experts (there are quite a few Iranians in the USA who testify to Congress regularly on policy issues about how to deal with Iran e.g. Dr. Abbas Milani and Karim Sadjadpour, and these people regularly speak at conferences on the prospects for regime change along with many other Middle Eastern experts) and who then loses many years' potential profits hundreds of thousands times his salary through an incompetent stock dilution decision (issuing shares to buy MAK without first demerging Mehdiabad). I've not seen anything in the company reports that indicates our MD has any specialist knowledge on Iran other than what is learnt on a B.Sc. Geology course.

All (well, for those interested in Iran) Article below from Foreign Policy magazine that suggests the race is on to bring down the Iranian economy/regime before they acquire the know-how to make a nuclear bomb. The further sanctions being contemplated on the second page of the article may be an indicator of where policy with Iran is going later this year.
