Called a pullback to 1347 SPX on yesterday's thread - not bad for an amateur missing by a point. My sick (sic) sense tells me whatever happens in the next two or three sessions is going to set the scene for a more sustained move.
Considering I'm long and wanting to "buy the dips" I'm hoping one more day of downside followed by the main move being up. If we only have a weak move up and can't bust to new highs in the next few days odds would be a retest of the bottom of this channel around 1327.
I believe US reporting season starts Monday with Alcoa after the bell Monday's US session??? That would see a weak day Monday, with any luck for us bulls a surprisingly strong reporting season and off to the races.
Time to focus on some positives for a bit. If the US reporting looks average I'll be bailing from existing positions.
