In the USA, single (mostly male, or pregnant women accompanied by one male) are quite cynically being used as advance scouts crossing the US/Mexico border for socio/economic advantage - getting a foothold, Hispanics now comprising close to the top statistical element in the nationality make-up of the US population.
Americans call these people "Anchors".
I put it to Aussies that we now have similar well prepared, well versed, and quite well off (if the truth were known) "Anchors" being deliberately and firmly entrenched into our soil here. People (note lately, most boat arrivals comprise young single males, even adolescents,unaccompanied,) who I'd venture are in no way shape or form true refugees fleeing alleged "horror" at home. And they are drilled by the smugglers to recite their "histories" off pat.
Once they attain their well-prepped aim of a toe-hold here, (with the shield of the "poor me, somehow I lost my paperwork" excuse now so hugely prevalent, and therefore even more laughable and unbelievable,) they can, with the help of the ultimate in terms of bleeding hearts, the churchy types, the do gooders (who always seem drawn to to the "causes exotic") but never seem to give two hoots nothing for our OWN young and disadvantaged - what - not glamourous enough a cause?), queues of headline seeking slef-glorifying pro-bono QC's or SC's, ( attain access to our High Court which none of us can ever get!) and weeping hanky-wringing Greens politicians, (who also don't give a damn about OUR young and disadvantaged). Preferring whales or the planet for their own egostistical "I really care" self massaging.
Indonesian border security at their major airports is as strict as anywhere else. I would ask, then, WHY is Indonesia kicking up such a fuss about OUR complaints that they seem to, then, expect us NOT to have strict border security here - but, instead, seem to think that we should welcome with open arms, no questions asked, THESE boatloads of people they are so freely shipping down to US! A situation they could themselves put a stop to, tomorrow, if their heart was in it!
we have had waves of people fleeing other regimes coming i here - we ourselves have been called "INVADERS" - a bit insulting, considering these forbears came here prisoners, so-called "criminals", in chains. Not of their own free will.
These Muslim countries, which presently are comprising the sources of most of these well-primed young men now being sent in droves here, I and others allege, as purely said "anchors" (so the rest of their familes can follow easily) - should perhaps be told by this useless facre of a UN (who are always telling Australia what to do!) that, instead, it's time they got their own countries and governments together, and stopped the rot of mayhem, violence, religious hatreds, and killings.Whilst many of OUR young men are donning uniform and volunteering to go to THEIR countries, to try and help there, sometimes giving up their lives, to assist these countries in attaining peace, and therefore more social prosperity, their own young males are running for it - and thumbing their noses at us over OUR so-calld strict border security. Now - it's that they're DEMANDING to come in! With Indonesia throwing a hissy fit if we finally start to arc up!
It is NOT Australia's fault these places are in such chaos. No production - no manufacturing - oppression and dictatorships raging. Women's rights non-existent (Half the population supressed!) Surely it's time these countries re-grouped, and had a good look at themselves, and faced the realities of why it is THEIR ways and systems and beliefs are NOT working to their populations advantages! It IS 2012 after all. Not the first century!
These "Anchors" are coming - they are weighing down pour already heavily overworked Socail Security Systems - and when their whole families follow, things will get worse.
This is NOT racist - it is a call for Australia to wake-up!
Contact your local pollie and insist that you want strict border security. One rule for all. Not one for some, and another for others who can pay their way - and dupe us in doing so.
