With AOD being delivered via food it follows that there is nothing to prevent it from becoming systemic in the body. You will probably recall some discussion of this matter when POH (on the POH thread) were developing Body shaper and how they could prevent it becoming systemic. The GRAS report clearance from a safety point of view neutralises that aspect and could open the way for a patch to deliver AOD with say vitamins through the skin, a possible further application for POH to pursue with CZD bearing in mind that failure to penetrate the gut taken as a pill/capsule was used as a possible reason for non performance in past trials of AOD.

The GRAS report covers AOD as a food supplement, however there would seem to be no reason for not combining it with vitamins or other nutrients and delivering it via a patch. The case could probably be made for delivery as a weight loss patch on its own.
