Are you referring to the Clean Technology Investment Program or the Clean Technology Innovation Program???
Considering the "investment" program has a pool of $800 mill available and the "innovation" program has $200 mill available, and you keep referring to $800 mill, it must be the former.
My take on this program is that this $800 mill is directed to manufacturing Co's who currently use a stack of energy to help them convert over to cleaner energy and require (if they seek over $5 mill investment) to have some form of ROI ie. payback over time.
Please let me know if I have it wrong and point me to the info sources if you wouldn't mind.
As AGL is a producer of this energy and ESI are not current manufacturers using at least 300 mega-watt hours of electricity or using at least 5 tera-joules of natural gas to be eligible - does this apply?
I would have thought the $200 mill "innovation" program would be a better bet - do you not?
The crux with this one though is whatever the Govt hands over in cash, it needs to be matched dollar for dollar by the company(ies).
Additionally, please point me to where the Exergen CHTD process requires a "2 km underground shaft".
Also, does anyone have any idea how long the drying unit(s) for the Coldry process would be in length? It was a great picture in the ann, but no dimensions - 50m? 100m? 500m? 1 km?
Whatever it is - it will be one hell of a fully inclosed structure I bet - looking forward to DFT2 and 3 to get more information on that!
