abu is reminding me more & more of Steve Waugh, our greatest Australian cricket captain. started his career in 1985, in the middle of the rebal tour to south Africa. was in a losing team for 4 years, showing plenty of promise with the bat. the press were all over him saying he has not made a test hundred yet. goes to play in the ashes in 1989, we win the series 4 to 0 & start our run to the top of the cricket mountain by defeating the great west indies at home in 1995. in that series he came of age , scoring 4 tests hundreds. we held the mantle of the greatest cricket nation for 15 years, all that time Steve waugh was a part of the great success. is the great darren holden doing a steve waugh? i believe yes. wear the baggy green with pride. allday everyday
