Good on them for them not buying cheaper in the market, but it still does not make up for diluting the hell out of us on Mehdiabad unless we are about to be to phosphate what Microsoft is to software on PCs, and the whole (MAK + UCL combined) is worth massively more than the parts.

They seem to be taking an inordinately long time to re-issue a revised bidder's statement that complies with the Takeover Panel ruling. Could there be a lot of talking going on between all the parties to withdraw the bid, or is it the case they have been so stung getting it wrong once that the document has to be checked for errors many times more?

I hope they withdraw the bid. Some hope I expect! I wonder if they are even allowed to withdraw the bid. Perhaps not.
