Looks like I did jinx the gold price after all.
It was in the 1590's, and Europe was up 1.5%.
POG managed to break $1600 overnight but then fell when markets fell after starting off up.
Europe finished up but off its strong early gains, but the US closed down 0.8% on the SPX and 0.6% on the Dow after also being up early.
