We shouldn't confuse nothing happening with the share price with nothing happening with the company. Of course, I need to immediately qualify my remark by acknowledging that something is happening with the share price. Perhaps the current share price is reflective of the night being darkest before the dawn.
The Chairman appears to suggest that international specialist biotech investors are waiting in the wings.
"Some of these overseas funds have undertaken due diligence...and have indicated an interest in investing, which we hope will translate to increased on-market buying of our stock," said Wilson.
Undoubtedly, there are some specialist biotech investors who will participate in equity placements courtesy of strategic deal making with Big Pharma, however, the Chairman has indicated that everyone else will be shown the buy side door. Folks, that where the 'loyal shareholders' have to line up but we wont at all mind the queue.
