Yep no worries arion; not saying that there's no room For any other BCE tech at all ; there is billions of tonnes to be churned out; all I'm saying is that you don't want coal been loaded on to a boat to go over seas that is a mixtures of coal from tech A and tech B, because unless they are very close in the moisture content outputted, then what's on that boat is a mix of coal of different efficiencies isn't it, and if you have been in it for 50+ years then you know that the likes of steel making doesnt like batches of A, B,C of different burn and output mixed in together now do you.
But I suppose you could have different techs operation in different regions; area A BCE is better than area Bs BCE; pick which one you want exported from or pick which one you want burnt in the local plants. I'm sure the enviros will want the one with the less co2, anyway alot depends on the overseas standards in regard to export as to what emissions & grade they are happy with.
