macquarie had to have been well aware of the deal way ahead of the annoncement on the 20th, they helped broker the partnership between pfc and statoil, pfc filed for the prospectus through the tsx on june 1, so who knows for sure how long before that macquarie was involved in the prospectus but im betting that it was long in the making, that it just didn,t happen over night
