Look, I am not totally dismissive of conspiracy theories, but I note big differences between yours and oneclip's. Yours is not entitled as though it were a statement of fact and this is true even though it is grounded in one. The second is that yours is measured, devoid of emotive content and it doesn't read like a UK tabloid. What's more is that although you may also be dejected, wish to sell out and yet don't, you're not taking cheap shots from the periphery as if you want to see your own perverse view realised and won't be happy until it is.

Believe it or not, I do recognise oneclip's better contributions here and I continue to respect these. It because of them that I have cut him some slack previously and not commented earlier.

I recognise he is disgruntled. I have skin in this game and I get disgruntled too, but I have not set out to unleash a diatribe concerning the most optimistic announcement of the year as if I am seeking an outcome to justify my position. That would be/is lunacy.

The difference between us is also that I want to be proven wrong in my 'disgruntlement' and oneclip wants to be proven right.

I take exception to his view because I think credit should be given where credit is due. It's a sorry state if one can't even muster this after yesterday.
