They pushed back the PFS to include two possible new shallow oxide deposits to the north , that are close enough to konks (truckable ) to positively effect the study on a few fronts ;.
1.A larger/ longer oxide based operation (cheaper early shallow ounces = faster mine payback ) 2. A bigger initial through-put to warrant a larger mine size , bigger scale operation (200k pa instead of 150kpa) 3. Delay having to mine less desirable ore types that require more processing . The less desirable ores could be mined down the track with positive cash flow and most likely , a much higher gold price . 4. Proves up the multi-project nature of batie west . 5. Delaying the PFS keeps the door open a little longer for corporate activity. We may be able to get the "right kind of deal" without having to go through the dilution of raising funds for mine build . Better for everyone involved . The suitor gets to build the mine "their way" also
