Hi Plonko,
Re your comment on timing of cr.
I have to agree.
If they were that close to needing cash, why not do the cr when this was holding in the 1.40's?
I would bet they would have had just as much interest at that time doing it at $1.20 than they have now at 60c and it would have been only half as dilutive.
Without being too critical on management that is talking with hindsight.
After missing that opportunity, perhaps they could have done it after the delay at Andash was announced, and the price was still being supported at $1.30. They still could have done it at $1.10-1.15.
Re;
"As for the extended and over informative posts on this and a few other stocks that I hold, I wonder at the motivation behind those posters."
I can't speak for others, but for me it’s a number of reasons.
I enjoy analysing these stocks. I do it full time and I do the work regardless of posting it or not and it’s not that much more effort to post it.
Especially because I put the more detailed work together for emailing anyway.
Also putting together detailed thoughts of what I think a stock is worth as well as future potential makes me think more about what I come up with before posting publicly.
I find that makes me check and sometimes double check my work before posting. That often results in me finding errors myself before posting or emailing that I might not have picked up otherwise. I can then correct my spreadsheets.
I try and remain conservative on the base case, but like to also consider the upside potential.
Then I post for feedback. That way I can see what others think of my numbers as well as hopefully if I have made any errors, someone else might pick up on them. Again I might find the need to adjust my spreadsheet.
So I find posting very useful.
Things can always go wrong, costs might blow out, grades may be lower when mining begins, but things can also go well, especially with exploration upside and this is often what causes some stocks to double or triple very quickly. There are always risks to the upside as well as down side and everyone needs to keep that in mind.
I also post simply because I like to share.
