Assuming the chatter is correct then a guess on timeframes for Philips is that we should know if we are in development by the end of the year but product launch could be 1 or 2 years away.
If Philips actually launch the product this year then I don't think we are in the first version - we would have had to be testing last year for that to occur - if the 'thaw' I have referred to really occured this year then I suspect the product hasn't turn out to be what they promised so they probably launch 'phase 1' or a preliminary model with 'the Magnotech 3000 coming soon' with Mix&Go embedded and a shiny new red button.
All just an opinion of course - we haven't seen anything official from the company about Philips except their name as an example company under POC with a couple of ticks after it.
I'm sticking to my guns in that over the next 6 months we see a couple of smaller signatures and 1 of the bigger onces we have been dancing with for a while - BC or DS or Millipore (or are they the Merck we are already with?)the 1 Litre crowd (maybe they are BC or DS?) or something like that - I don't really know who has been talking longest.
