The general complaint is that the Chinese are restricting supply to the export market not domestic market, thereby forcing users to locate manufacturing bases within China.
Once Lynas add supply to the LREE market, one would expect China to relax their stance on LREEs but not HREEs. Either way, it is unclear how a substantial increase in supply will result in an increased price....
