It's so hard to believe that people were allowed to smoke in restaurants and pubs and clubs not that many years ago. Me and the misses would take the kids out on a friday night, and we'd all get home and smell like an ash tray. It was disgusting. We'd all have to have a shower before going to bed. Today it's great and you can just get into PJ's and get into bed..
The old man used to smoke in the car when I was a kid. We all just put up with it. In my late teens and twentys I spent hours a night in smoke filled clubs and pubs.
The world is much better today.
I remember at high school the peer-group pressure to smoke was overwhelming. You'd get hounded and hounded. Even teased for being a goody-goody. I remember having a few smokes at about 14 or 15 just to get everybody to stop the hounding/teasing/peergroup pressure. Then it would move onto the next kid who refused to have a puff.
Cheers.
