While I agree with your comments I think you need to take a closer look at what is driving the Malaysian political scene.

As an example of why Malaysian politicians are nervous,and why the community feels they have had enough of the UMNO controlled government, then check the storyline on the Port Klang Free Zone Project with billions wasted / syphoned off, former ministers on criminal charges with relationships that go all the way back to Mahahtir and a huge white elephant that is steeped in an inability to make decisions - sound familiar.

Gillard & Co curry favour & fame at tax payer expense - Malaysia has been getting ripped off by politicians who are experts in 'lining their personal pockets' to the tune of billions (Ringgit & Dollars !).

Lynas unfortunately in collateral damage in this Malaysian 'war'.
