I fully agree. Hence why I posted that CP is not that loose with his purse string. And hence why I also said that 10 cents per tonne still would demand a hell of a lot of money to be paid.

I am not a dreamer but I am also looking at what these coal deposits could be worth in the long term.

As for the part of the depth of the coal, well Ravi there has been some coal mining companies that have been mining coals at greater depth than that in the past. And today, with the technologies that we have on hand, that could be easily done. Especially with inclines that could take us down in no time at all.

Then again, I don't think that the coal will be starting to get mined in the near future and, in twenty or thirty years time, the techinology could be so far advanced, that it could be done without any concerns at all. I am looking at the long term benefits for us all with this one. Not a short term gain.

"You were one of CP's major supporters, in trying to get JH back, so don't start complaining now mate."

First of all, let me say that what CP did was totally unexpected from me, and I am very unhappy with that.
And this will serve as a lesson to the poster that wrote that the big sharehoders are here to be saving us from the grips of JH.

Now, with that part mate, supporting CP didn't mean that we have to give him what he wants and lay in a fetal position. That is an excuse that you are putting forward.
We have Cottee in there that is getting paid for what he is doing, and he should be making sure that we will not get shafted by giving CP what he wants, for what he wants.

Then again, someone here stated that RC does not want to have anything to do with the coal side of things. And when one does not want to have anything to do with something, they will usually get rid of it regardless, come what may.
