Highly informative and mind opening thread indeed.

There are thousands of religions only of this era.

And unfortunate thing is every religion considers their belief system and concept of god is only true and the best.

I personally liked quite a few posts and specially from UniversalTrader.

As he said about theory/belief:

Yep evolution is a theory - but we can see it happening over time. Which is more believable:

1) billions of years of slow changes to produce the species that inhabit the earth now; or

2) an all mighty deity creating/controlling everything.

Answer 1) is far more likely and logical.

Do we have the answers for where everything comes from

No.

Does the theory change over time?

Yep because we discover new information.

Is science a faith?

Yes I suppose it is but it is a faith based on ourselves and the knowledge built up over time.
