Boy I really thought that Norseman Gold should have announced to the ASX and Investors that The Department of Mines & Petroleum suspended ALL mining at the Harlequin Decline for the past fortnight after its emergency response plan was found to be inadequate... Right in the middle of an Institutional Investors Placement and Stock issuance - but maybe I'm just a dumb grunt miner who doesn't understand the subtle nuances of regulation and disclosure..
The Harlequin is still closed ... I wonder if the safety inspectors checked the dates on the breathing apparatus - cos they were well out of date last time I checked...
If you read my original post I raised my concerns about the safety at Norseman - a while ago they didn't even have an emergency response team - seems that Tulla/L2 are continuing to "find" reasons not to actually produce any Gold... I'm sure its not to drive Norseman to the wall so they can buy it up cheap and take it private.. Hang on..didn't I say that in my first post as well???
Also as an addendum - I believed I had met Kevin Maloney as the chap was introduced as the new Boss but I suspect now it was Kim...
