And I'd be down over 50% from 7.4c which was the last price I was in at about this time last year.
Bit of trivia, when I was in FML last year I was holding between 1 to 1.5 million shares at a time. This translates to between 74 and a 105 thousands worth in dollars. At 3.2c odd a share if I was still in I would have lost between 42 thousand to 55 thousand odd in dollars in the last year in actual value.
But its only a "paper loss" I here some posters say. Well with the cash I have saved I've put a sizable deposit on a surfers paradise townhouse and paid for renovations. Try doing that with a "paper loss".The townhouse is 5 minutes walk to Cavill Ave and 10 minutes walk to the beach. A unit in the same block sold for $80,000 more then what I just bought mine for 3 years ago.
Funnily enough I once tried to put the "paper loss" arguement to a lender, re-some crap stock I was holding and they wouldn't have a bar of it. So why does this arguement hold so much currency amongst share traders?
Happy punting.
