Off topic the program Gold Rush on Foxtel is exciting in that a group of battlers are having a go in the Klondike. They describe the bedrock thing. I am not sure how long ago this may have been under ice, it may never have been but if it was then the viewing of this program shows us why they are drilling 1 metre into bedrock. In Ice the rock opens and closed during the seasons and heavy metal finds its way down into the rock. Pretty interesting viewing, small time mining but interesting. Wilgar is what this program may be interesting for. Guys in the know, is Wilgar alluvial from days long gone. The company says from different events, so I am only talking one event. Apparently up in the Klondike if they find what was previously a depression caused buy an ancient waterfall there could be over 50 million in gold there. Thats the situation one of the groups thinks they are on the cusp of and guess what winter sets in.
